Event Description:The Michigan Flight Museum hosts its monthly Historic Presentation Night with a special America 250 celebration lecture titled, “Rest Easy, the Continentals are on the Field.” This lecture presented by author and Michigan State University Professor Roger Rosentreter, will explore the origins and changing nature of the American Continental Army. Beginning the Revolutionary War as citizen soldiers to the decisive victory at Yorktown, this program will trace how this army grew into a fully-fledged fighting unit capable of defeating the powerful British Army.
