Event Description:The Packard Proving Grounds continues its Historical Speaker Series with “The Life of Dr. Bertha Van Hoosen.” This lecture presented by Samantha Lawrence will focus on the 59-year career of Dr. Van Hoosen who pioneered surgical techniques and founded the American Medical Women’s Association. Lectures at PPG are free for members and $5 for all others.
