Event Description:The Packard Proving Grounds continues its Historical Speaker Series with "Diego Rivera: The Detroit Industry Murals at the DIA." This lecture will be presented by art historian Wendy Evans. Diego Rivera called the DIA Murals his finest work, this lecture will explore the how and why of these statements with a. richly illustrated talk of the importance of these murals to the history of the DIA and Detroit. Lectures at PPG are free for members and $5 for all others.
