Event Description:MARCH ON! is an annual event that commemorates the legacy of the Ford Hunger March (AKA Ford Massacre) which took place on March 7, 1932. This year's event takes place on Saturday, March 7. Participants will muster at the Fort Street Bridge Park at 1 p.m. (corner of Fort St. and Denmark in SW Detroit). Then at 1:30, marchers will recreate the 1932 March up Miller Rd. to UAW Local 600. Around 2:30, a program will begin with music by Don “Doop” Duprie, Tony Paris and the Sugarburn.
