DETROIT – At its recent Annual Meeting, the MotorCities National Heritage Area Partnership announced new officers and welcomed seven new members to its Board of Directors, who will each serve a two-year term. 

The slate of officers is as follows: 

·        Mark Heppner continues as Chair; he is President & CEO of Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores.

·        George Etheridge is the new Vice Chair; he is Economic Development Policy Manager for Activate Detroit (formerly Thomas Group Consulting in Detroit).

·        Mallory Bower is the new Secretary; she is Executive Assistant and Social Media Coordinator for the Kelsey Museum of Archaeology, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

·        Nancy Thompson continues as Treasurer; a long-time MotorCities board member, she resides in Birmingham.

·        Robert Kreipke remains as Past-Chair; he is Ford Motor Company’s Historian Emeritus and a resident of Detroit.

The newly-elected board members include:

·        Harriet Carter of Detroit, who is Vice President of Customer and Partner Services for Visit Detroit.

·        Paul Corbett of Detroit, Director of Government and Community Relations for MICH Auto in Detroit.

·        Susan Huggett, Director of Development and Membership for the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners.

·        Drew Kelly, Assistant Director of Michigan CAP and Retired Workers Department for the UAW International Union in Detroit.

·        Anindita (Anne) Partington, Managing Director of the Tauber Institute at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

·        Julie Pingston of Holt, President & CEO of the Greater Lansing Convention and Visitors Bureau.

·        Christopher Topham, Head of Operations and Physical Modeling for Stellantis Design North America.
