The Tribute project when completed will consist of 25 interpretive signs that describe each community’s contribution to Woodward’s rich history and act as an identifying landmark tying all 11 communities together. The Pontiac Tribute will tell the important story of transportation and its impact on the largest urban center in Oakland County. It is expected the Tribute will be completed mid summer, with an official unveiling in August.
The WA3 is currently siting locations with the CIty of Detroit for the next Tribute and working with the Detroit-Wayne County Joint Building Authority.
