Automotive Authors Book Fair

MotorCities National Heritage Area awards a grant to the Friends of the Detroit Public Library for their 11th annual Automotive Authors Book Fair during November 2009.

Each year the National Automotive History Collection, hosts the annual Automotive Authors Book Fair event at the Skillman Library in Detroit, MI. This event brings bring together prominent automotive authors and experts along with the public. Authors, Archives, Publishers and Universities attend to sell, buy, and trade their materials.

Author Paul Ingrassias, discusses his soon to be published book chronicling the most influencial cars of the post-war era.


Historians and motor heads of all ages are invited to attend Detroit's largest gathering of automotive history writers this year November 2010. Over twenty authors write about the world of cars and their societal impact. Books will be available for purchase.
This event is free and open to the public.
