David White has worked in the history field in Flint, Michigan for over thirty years as Curator at the Sloan Museum and Director of the Scharchburg Archives at Kettering University. An active Preservationists David has restored over 10 homes, the first being that of auto industrialist Charles Nash, and currently operates Witherbee’s Market and Deli in a renovated 1950’s Good Year Tire Store in downtown Flint. He has served as Chief Steward of the Flint Stewardship Community which was instrumental in recreating the historic arches over Saginaw Street in Flint and completing 33 Wayside Exhibits.
