Brian Rice is the Director at DTE Energy’s Monroe Power Plant where he is responsible for all site activities. Monroe Power Plant provides over 30% of all DTE Energy’s electrical production and is the largest in the state of Michigan and the fifth largest power plant in the United States.
Brian began his DTE Energy career as a Plant Operator at River Rouge Power Plant, increasing his responsibilities in Operations and then appointed as Plant Manager. He has more than 35 years of experience in the energy industry.
Brian and his wife Kathy have one grown daughter and are active in the same Detroit area community where they have always lived.
